A walk that incorporates the main traces of the Roman presence in Brescia. We depart from the Porticula Sancti Eusebi and descend along Via Brigida Avogadro, following the remains of the city walls until we reach the Capitolium archaeological area. Here we will see inside the Republican sanctuary – where we can admire frescoes across a large expanse of wall – as well as the Capitoline temple and the theatre. We then see the colonnaded remains of the Forum and the Roman basilica. We end our walk in Piazza Loggia where we see a collection of Roman epigraphy.
